Elderwise is an independent, member-driven organization offering learning experiences and camaraderie for the over-fifty community in Southeast Michigan.
It was formed in 1992 by representatives of Eastern Michigan University in collaboration with a group of adults interested in developing a continuing education program.
Elderwise offers:

- Interactive learning.
- Social activities.
The Elderwise Holiday Party takes place this year on Thursday, November 20, from 1-3 p.m. Our Events Committee is working hard to provide some exciting entertainment and we will post this information very soon!
The new Fall Program begins on Wednesday, September 3, through Sunday December 7, and is packed with lots of new classes, plus old favorites. Don't forget to mail in your registration in good time to ensure a place in the class[es] of your choice!
Come join us for the Fall Kick Off and discover what we have to offer for the new Fall 2008 Program. You can register for your favorite classes and try out some new ones! There will also be plenty of time to socialize while you enjoy some delicious treats prepared by the Elderwise Hospitality Committee. Jack Bailey, Guitarist, will entertain us. Members and guests both welcome.
The Kick Off takes place on Thursday, August 21, 2008, at Cleary University, from 1-3 p.m.
