Elderwise is an independent, member-driven organization offering learning experiences and camaraderie for the over-fifty community in Southeast Michigan.
It was formed in 1992 by representatives of Eastern Michigan University in collaboration with a group of adults interested in developing a continuing education program.
Elderwise offers:
- Opportunities for personal growth.
- In-depth courses and peer teaching.
- Enrichment.
- Interactive learning.
- Social activities.
The Elderwise Holiday Party will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2009, from 1-3 p.m., in Room 101, Cleary University, 3601 Plymouth Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105. Members and guests are both welcome.
There will be entertainment [TBA] and delicious holiday fare provided by the Events and Hospitality Committes.

DANCE
Four presentations in April concentrate on dance and its various forms. Find out about the origins of each dance form and how it has developed. Each session is presented by instructors who excel in their own particular type of dance. Take each class separately [Members $5, Non Members $10] or all three at the special rate of Members $15, Non Members $30].

Let me tell you about the organization I work for – Elderwise; a group of seniors with an unquencable thirst for knowledge and a passionate desire to provide learning opportunities for other like-minded seniors in Southeast Michigan.
The Fall Kick Off will take place on August 20, 2009, from 1-3 p.m. when new classes offered in the Fall Program will be showcased. Entertainment and deicious home made buffet provided.
